November News

November 4th, 2009

Big thank you to everyone who came to our show on the 30th Oct.  Sorry to anyone who had to wait for the afternoon classes. At the next show we have had a change around.  On Sunday 29th November we are holding a Working Hunter show.  This will have our usual classes and then 3 new style and performance classes which will be judged on your individual flat show and your style and manners over a full course of Working Hunter fences.  No mark will be given for conformation.  These will be ideal for any eventers as will be similar to indoor cross country.

On Sunday 6th December we will be holding a flatwork show with the usual unaffiliated showing classes in-hand and ridden.

Both these schedules are available now. They are both points shows for our winter series and you can check how you are doing on our points board.

We are also hoping to begin indoor evening jumping over the working hunter course on a fortnightly basis - perhaps on a Thursday.  Starting with a clear round, then 65cms, 75cms and an open class.  Open to any age of rider/ height of horse.  Please let me know any suggestions.

If you have any queries plese email or ring.  Christmas activity list to follow.

Our Shed is coming along nicely - can`t wait till we can use it.  We are looking for some new school ponies of all sizes and another Instructor so we might be able to get our waiting list in hand - sorry to anyone waiting for a permanent place - please bear with us.

The next pony club activity is on Sat 7th March at 4pm and is an unmounted Ralley to cover the next badge work.  Easter activity list will be out for next Blog and will include a 3 day course - also the dates will soon be out for summer camps 2009 - of which there will only be two weeks this time rather than three so places will be limited.
